Somerset Community Foundation provided Wivey Grows with a grant to expand our growing project at Langley House in 2023 and we have been very happy to report back on all the ways that this has supported our expansion over the last year.
The grant funding enabled us to:
- create a new growing space with raised beds and a polytunnel
- take on two alloments
- set up a beekeeping group
- host 87 sessions for over 600 local people
- supply fresh veg to Wivey Kitchen to provide nutritious free meals to those who need them
